Mortgage Approved Pending Valuation with Accord

Hi,
I am a FTB, buying on my own, and finding this whole process quite stressful so just looking some advice.
I have just received confirmation from my Mortgage Advisor that my application has been "approved pending valuation".
I am not worried about the valuation, as I just recently had the property valued.
What is generally the next steps after the valuation and timescale on this? Have all checks been done prior to this, or could I still get rejected at this stage?
Thanks in advance.

Accord are generally a really good lender who deal with things pretty quickly. If you are being told its all been approved subject to valuation then hopefully this is the only outstanding requirement.
Once the valuation is done it should be back with the lender within 24 hours and as far as I am aware Accord are fairly up to date so if its all ok a mortgage offer could be issued within another 24 hours.
A lot can still happen though on the back of the the feedback given on the valuation but hopefully it will all be ok for you.0
