    Personally I wouldn't bother.

    Bitcoin value changes so quickly and so often that unless you want to forego sleep and other bodily functions 24hrs a day so you can catch it on a higher point than you paid for it, its probably not going to be a money spinner for you.

    May I quote from Bitcoin's website: "The price of a bitcoin can unpredictably increase or decrease over a short period of time due to its young economy, novel nature, and sometimes illiquid markets. Consequently, keeping your savings with Bitcoin is not recommended at this point. Bitcoin should be seen like a high risk asset, and you should never store money that you cannot afford to lose with Bitcoin" (my emphasis)

    Decision's up to you though, plenty of places to buy it...

    Oh, do it NOW, then sell your holding as soon as it shows any sign of making a gain. In other words, get it out of your psyche as soon as possible.

    You don't "invest" in bitcoin - you speculate!

    Waiting sounds good to me, just keep an eye on temperature levels in hell and when they're persistently below zero for a while, conditions should be perfect....

    I agree with eskbanker...wait until Satan buys a pair of snow shoes!

    I bet you he won't use bitcoin for the purchase though.

    Dear brand new poster,

    I see that this is your first post on here, so a warm welcome! Always good to see insightful, well thought out posts which offer meaning and value.

    Turning specifically now to your thoughts I would recommend the following actions on your part:

    (a) if you have a house, sell it as soon as possible and invest the full proceeds into bitcoin and as many other virtual crypto coins that you can lay your hands on;
    (b) liquidate any investments you may have and put the whole lot into crypto;
    (c) give up any job you may have and watch the value of your new crypto coins go sky high, become a multi trillionaire and buy that yaght that you've always dreamed of.

    I'm sure everyone will agree; this is the best course of action. Don't wait; just dive in. :j

    I've been invested in Bitcoin since 2011.

    Not everyone has the balls to do that.

    I cashed out some of course, along the way, but I am still invested.

    OP, if you want some exposure to Bitcoin, just buy it. 1% of your portfolio invested in Bitcoin will not hurt if it's to go down short or mid term, but can bring gain in thousands of % in long term.
    Also, halving is coming and historically this was always a trigger for gains.

    You clearly have a lot more experience and insight on Bitcoin than the rest of us here - why did you bother asking your original question?

    As a test for their AI translation engine which takes a sentence and translates it into seven foreign languages before retranslating it back to English, wondering if it will remain comprehensible.
