Rate change and DMP

Hi all, just looking for some advice, currently looking at starting a das/dpp (scotland) which is similar (ish) to a dmp. But just wondering if anyone has experience of getting a mortgage rate change with current lender whilst on a dmp? Have a fixed rate for another 3 years but just thinking ahead. Won’t be changing lender or adding to mortgage but not sure if we’ll have difficulty. Many thanks in advance.

You should be fine, assuming your mortgage repayments are up to date, most lenders do not do any additional credit checks and just ask you to confirm the mortgage is affordable.
But it will depend on the lender and their stance in 3 years time.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
