Am I being Stupid? Sofa shop recommendations

My husband and I need to buy some new sofas. We are looking for a 3 seater(over 3 cushions not 2 which so many seem to be) and a 2 seater fabric power recliner.
We must be able to view and try in the shop so will not buy online unless we have visited a shop first. We live in Suffolk.
Locally we have visited DFS, SCS, Furniture village and Oak furniture land but have found nothing we like, we aren’t even overly picky there just doesn’t seem to be many 3 seaters with 3 cushions that we find comfortable
We have no idea where else to try, we have asked for advice on a Facebook forum and people kindly replied but suggested M&S or Next but they don’t do recliners, or places online where we can’t try them in person.
We have seen some nice ones in a sofology but Sofology have horrendous reviews...but then so do the other big retailers I have mentioned above.
For all other things I would never dream of buying something or from somewhere with terrible reviews but I feel a little bit out of options. I also think often people post more about negative experiences then positive ones so perhaps the reviews aren’t entirely accurate?
My questions are, what would you do? If you found something you liked but from a company with bad feedback would you risk it?
Can anyone recommend any good shops with sofas that match our requirements that I can visit?
I feel like if I listen to the reviews and don’t order, we will never end up with a sofa, but if I order and something goes wrong it will be a big fat I told you so!
Surely it’s not this hard to buy a sofa?
Our current ones have lasted years, we bought them second hand from someone who had bought them in Harvey’s but within 3 months decided they wanted an L shape sofa so they were practically new. They have lasted 9 years and we are pleased with their quality. Yet now Harvey’s have nothing we like the look of and again the feedback is awful
