    I agree with bristolleedsfan and Mince_Pie :D

I like to cherry pick the offers [rarely do 1p ones] and do quite a few sites, that way all my eggs are not in one basket either ;)

    Hi all,

Well it's been a while but I have a good excuse - we have finally bought a home! The survey etc and various things over the past 1-2 weeks have gone well, so we're all geared up now and very excited. I must say, my cashback money has been decimated as my pc went on last Sunday, so I have had to urgently buy a laptop, which was much more than the cashback but still less than it would have been with no cashback, so most of it was paid by clicks!

My blog has suffered as a result of all this, and I know the coming weels will be even more fraught, but hope to be able to update here and on the blog when possible.

Sparhawke it takes time as Mince_pie says, but perhaps if you are able, just do the higher value clicks - that's what I do and I know *madcat* and others here agree too. It all comes down to the individual. If you have lots of time, do all clicks and if not, do what you can. plus with time you learn how to do the clicks quicker. See page 1 as some of the info there may help.... but give is 12-14 weeksn and you can then decide depending on how much you have earnt.

Mango850 - Sorry I don't know voucherextreme... and Mince_Pie - I used to use ipoints but gave up very quickly as I couldn't always shop at the exact sites that gave ipoints...

StevieB_666 I'm happy to pop you over a guide for you, it may have extra info you don't have yet, drop me a PM with your e-mail addy if you want a copy.

Someone mentioned Pigsback, and as far as I am concerned it's a bit too gimmicky these days - they used to be great for daily clicks and have now messed about with what the clicks are worth, and restricting some of the vouchers so you can no longer get £10 worth of a voucher for example, you have to wait until you have more to get a £20 voucher. As soon as I can get enough for a proper voucher at £10 I'm stopping using them, or, I'll give in and get an Odeon one (if they are ever in stock!).

Still no news re Trading Standards/Cashinco, but I am guessing in the current economic climate, it could be that the smaller sites may suffer in this way. This is why I suggest cashing out as and when you can rather than stockpiling the cash, unless of course it's a site that has been round along time and you feel comfortable with (for example, some sites pay bonuses if you wait to get to a certain level before you withdraw the cash).

Hope everyone is well and that the rain doesn't hit where you are!

Post 3rd from the bottom with site link so that people can read what has been said about the "giveaway" which was heavily plugged on MSE by supporters of the site, Free Iphones, Ipods etc etc etc. Thread in MSE Freebies/No Spend Required - Sub-Forum has been deleted :T

"Its not a matter of paying people to click on our sites it is because of the extremely poor quality traffic that cashback sites deliver. We had to dramitcally reduce the traffic in an attempt to bring the quality back up by using more google ppc traffic which is more likely to result in a sale. Hopefully if we can get the balance right we will be able to re-introduce traffic from other sources"

    Rick has just added this:

They certainly are being worked on, the first should be completed later this week, searchchief, and if all goes well and we get it right, we will increase traffic and maintain quality. :T
