i'm surprised at how much you can actually make on the side from these. It is tedious tho and it can take a while to finish clicking through one site, at least for me.

I've been doing the sign up offers and free sim cards, they pay pretty well and you get free things.
Total payment recieved from GPT etc as June: £0.00
  • Am I doing something fundamentally wrong? I click on a link and it takes forever and a day to load for any site, so to do all this clicking in 20 minutes is absolutely impossible here. I've been at this now for 4 hours and have had 3 confirmed events in my email but have only managed to get 20 pages loaded. Everything just seems so slow.

Either you lot must live next door to your telephone exchanges or basic 1/2meg broadband here simple cannot cut it to make this worth my time.

I see there are 7 main cashback sites, but so far I have only tried Casinco with limited confirmations. I have tried opening the click sites into their own tabs but this doesn't always work as the pages don't always load with what you were expecting but rather your own account page comes up or the login screen has shown up a few times. So I'm left with clicking to go to a site, waiting for it to load, doing all the things I think I'm supposed to do then shutting that tab. Some confirm, most don't. Should I be clearing cookies between every single click on Casinco or only at the end when I have clicked all the different links it suggests?

Would so like to get something out of this so any suggestions how to speed this up, or if you can see or think you know where I am slipping up, would be most appreciated please.

Let's take Cashinco as your example:

Go to site, login, go to 'Daily Points'.

Top one at the moment is Yahoo Search, 20 points, 2 searches per day. Click on 'Try It Now', it should open the site in a new tab - the site is actually InterAdMedia. At the top right, type a search word in, i.e 'laptop'. Click search, or hit Enter. Another new tab will then open with the results. You can then click on any result to make doubly sure it gets tracked (and with shopping sites the new tab opens once you click on a 'Visit Store' or 'Buy Now' button).

Then close the both tabs so you're left with Cashinco only. Then click on next one down, BuyCentral, opens in new tab, click on one of their top 10 or daily 4 offers, it will open in new tab with store product. Wait a few seconds, maybe click on something in the store tab, then close both tabs.

    Repeat ad nauseum.

Slightly quicker is to go down the list clicking each site open, but then you need to be systematic about going through each tab and doing your search and clicking result.

Only clear cookies once you've left the site completely.

  • Thanks seagull09,

It would seem I'm doing everything correctly from your description, so I must be suffering from abysmal broadband speed and delays with these site servers.

Lets hope it speeds up quite a bit more or I'll not be able to do this as it will take much too long. Life is too short to wait 5 minutes to earn a possible 1p before tax lol

No problem, at that speed you might be better off signing up to a few survey sites instead, that way you get a lump sum of 50p or whatever, and as most pages are text based it shouldn't be much slower for you.

My payments were not updated on GPB. As for Kayak they owe me a lot.

Sorry folks I was looking at the wrong colum on the site. It seems that GPB have credited me over £13 and 50 or so pence.

One good thing about them is that they show the tracking the next day or so if you need to check unlike some sites which track once in a blue moon.

    Thanks Neil for the email.

BTW I was thinking it would be a good idea if people from the cashback sites came ont his thread.

    Hi everyone.

    love the tips.

Can I get one of those handy guide thingys if its not to much hassle?

Oh and if anyone does want a referals link for Zee Sweets you can ask me :) Not really bothered though! Have over £70 pending but the 50p would help :p

I did post the site on the referrals board but every time the mods delete the threads, was hoping we could have a little discussion thread about the site. I have found REAL GOOD deals. One is the BBC magazines one!

I have done over 30 odd. £1 trial magazine and you get £2.50! So all the trials (17 in total, there is no limit AT ALL!).

My calculations on just doing 17:

    17 X 2.50 = £42.50
    £42.50 - 17 (The mag costs)= £25.50

    £25.50! YEP £25.50 PROFIT!

And just cancel the DD's after the first 30 quid has gone :p!

I did 30, spent £30 and got £45 profit (After taking away the £30 spent).

And they are covered under member protect, so any lost transactions will be covered and if they don't track Zee Sweets will pay up!

I am using Cashbackkings (Slow!) and some other sites. lol but don't really have that much time these days :(
