but then the March promotion came along and I thought I'd make as much money as possible. The promotion has been extended and I've kept clicking. Don't know what I'll do when it finishes might not click as often or stop altogether. Eagerlearner has stated that she is not going to promote Chief anymore.

I shant use Chief/Cascade once the enhanced daily click rates stop, hey if lots of us say the same thing, Chief/Cascade owners might make the enhanced daily click rates permanent. :D
  • Thank you aspella for taking the time to write all that!

From what you've said it does scare me quite a bit that the owners of a cashback site couldn't run it for a short period of time because they didn't have an internet connection.

Still... it is "free" money so I guess there isn't really any reason not to use them for a minute a day :)

INeedATissue - I don't think the fact they had no internet connection should be something to worry about. I was without internet connection myself for 2 weeks when I moved house. The last time I requested a payment from Chief was on 5th March, I received this on 30th March i.e. it only took 18 working days.

JadeLD - Thanks for taking the time to reply to my question about WMC Payday on Cashinco. It has started tracking, I'd complete given up on the click. :j

Yesterday started on a high and ended with a thump. It was brought to my attention that comments I'd made on this thread were being used in a squabble. I'm surprised my comments have been used in this way and it has made me think twice about responding to questions/giving my opinions. I stand by everything I've said on this thread. Some days I sign in to cashback sites and I get a surprise good and bad i.e. I've won a comp, click hasn't tracked, not all clicks have been updated. The surprise I receive good or bad comes across in the vocabulary I use. I've decided to avoid the thread for a few days to let the dust settle. Please don't let this stop new and active members of the thread asking/responding to questions. I'll continue to update my website with any information I obtain about clicks. If anyone has any questions please don't hesitate to PM me on here or any of the cashback sites or post a comment in my guestbook.

    Happy clicking :)

Oh aspella don't let people wee you off like that. I find all the stuff you say useful and it's good to hear other people opinions especially as a newbie clicker.

I have a bit of a q about quidco payment - I received a payment into paypal the other day from them for £2.28 (i know, pitiful!) but didn't withdraw as I'm waiting for some more and will withdraw altogether. The payment was stated as cleared.

I looked at paypal again today and it now says £2.00 cleared. My quidco account still states £2.28.

So where has the 28p gone?? I know it's only 28p but it's the principle of the thing!

    Any ideas?

    xx

Didn't last long did I :rotfl:. Just popped back to update signature because I've received 2 payments. Rpoints £2.41 & Topcashback £26.02.

Silaqui - I think you have been charged 3.4% + 20p for receiving the payment via Paypal. Do you have a business/premier paypal account? Don't think you get charged if you have a personal Paypal account. This is why I don't receive payments via Paypal - my preferred method is cheque however recently started using Bacs as the thresholds have increased for cheque payments.

PayPal now charge based on how the payment is described. Even with a personal account, I've been charged for receiving a Quidco payment. I've now switched all my cashback payments to BACS (much easier than cheques!)

No it's just a personal one, I see it's ok if it's a charge for using it. You would have though it wold show up as a transaction though e.g. received from quidco £2.28; paid to Paypal 28p.

Ah well. Thanks for clearing that up!

I also use BACS for Quidco and have had no problems. I wasn't really happy about giving them my account details but opened a web savings account with my bank just to pay in BACS payments from cashback sites, then I can transfer it wherever, and I feel a bit safer than giving my current account details.

Particularly with Cashinco as I have saved my password and it just goes straight to the page with all my details and account number, it's a bit worrying to think about my laptop being stollen! Hopefully by having a separate account I have improved my chance a bit.

PS. Glad you are back Aspella, hope I have not offended you. Your help and comments are always very much appreciated, I am still relatively new at this and everyone's comments and opinions are very useful.
  • WMC Payday would make it 37p. :D

An easy 3.00 on GPB, TCB and CBK last time I "looked" ( pardon the pun.:rotfl:)

http://www.getpoundsback.co.uk/stores/dollond_aitchison/ The eye test is not actually booked until D+A phone to confirm the appointment, what some people do by mistake is book an appointment over a weekend for say 9.30am on the Monday which means that D+A have no opportunity to confirm the appointment, still tracks though.
