Hi everyone
Does anyone know what the raffle tickets in "Swearch" are? I can't find out what is supposed to happen with them. It's 5 o'clock somewhere!0 -
Me again
I'm thinking of joining Cashinco. Are there many daily clicks on there? I seem to keep joining sites that look as if they will be good but then they turn out to have few daily clicks, or you need to earn £25 before payout which will take waaaay too long. It's 5 o'clock somewhere!0 -
Victoria Meldrew - 1st Swearch raffle - I've never registered with Swearch so don't know anything about the raffle.
Cashinco - Information taken from the more sites section of my website.
Cons: You have to have a UK mobile phone number as you are sent a code via text which you use to verify your account. Doesn't like hotmail email addresses so you will have to set up a yahoo or gmail email account instead. If you use a hotmail address you will not receive the confirmation email.
Payment methods: Paypal & Bacs. Minimum payment threshold £10 (10,000 points).
Referral scheme: You receive 20% points commission on every offer the person you refer completes.
Competitions: Every month Cashinco gives away points to 3 members. 1st prize 100,000 points (£100), 2nd prize 50,000 points (£50) and 3rd prize is 25,000 points (£25). All you have to do to have a chance of winning is do the prize draw clicks (Miva & Pricelog).
Daily clicks: (10 points = 1p)
Yahoo Search - 2 x 20 = 40 points
Buycentral 35 - 45 points (I've always got 45)
Carsource 20 points
Cascade Compare - 3 x 10 = 30 points
Kelkoo 5 points
Search Chief - 3 x 10 = 30 points
Swearch 10 points
HSW - 2 x 20 = 40 points
Vans United 20 points
W4N 25 points
Total - 265 points = 26.5 pence
Other daily clicks: I don't do these clicks and don't class them as dailies but you can do them every day on this site.
Comparethemarket Car insurance 250 points
Comparethemarket Van insurance 250 points
Consumer Info Centre 325 points
Tesco Compare Car Insurance 250 points
Tesco Compare Home Insurance 250 points
Total = 1325 points = £1.325
Statements are updated approx 48 hours. Transactions move from pending to confirmed after 60 days. You get 1000 points (£1) when you join the site.0 -
Thanks so much for that aspella - I have a hotmail account and don't really want to set up another at this time but will bear that in mind for future reference. How do I get to your website by the way?
As you seem to be very on the ball do you know why Cashback Chief is still showing the old rates in transactions pending for Buy Central, Cascadecompare and Searchchief i.e. 4p and 2p instead of the new March rates?
Buy Central seems to be tracking now using your method so thanks for that.
Also, I remember someone posting a link to a site that compares all the cashback sites - it ranks them and tells you in a table what the minimum is you can draw out, if there is a joining fee, if there is a joining bonus etc. I've looked everywhere, and tried Google, but can't now find it. Can anyone help please? It's 5 o'clock somewhere!0 -
Hi Victoria Meldrew have you read Martin's article on cashback sites? That may help understand them a little more. On the sites I join, I make a note of each limit on the 'cashback calculator' section. Each person's will vary though as they join different sites. Don't join too many - stick to 2 or 3 to start, then once you get the hang of it you can add more. Also remember that sometimes to get to your payout level faster, you might buy a birthday present, or something like a travel booking, which you would have bought on the high street anyway. Doing it online though gets you closer to your payout level with the cashback site.
Lady_K - I think with them the updates are less defined, ie, not on a guaranteed day but eventually they do turn up. If not drop them an e-mail and hopefully Phil can check it out for you.
Sliaqui - same here - typing something in feels like it should be the way but once you get the hang of it it's fine and obviously an extra click!
Latest guides have been e-mailed out and I am also planning to update it this weekend so watch this space for a big alert when this has been done...

Victoria Meldrew - You can access my site by clicking on my username and then clicking on visit aspella's homepage. You'll find the daily clicks section answers all your questions.
My pending transactions on chief are showing the increased rates for Buycentral etc. Some of the transactions on your statement will be from Feb - check the trans date.
Lady_K - I received a cheque from Myshoppingrewards today little surprised as I stopped clicking when you mentioned that W4N were being reversed. My W4N transactions went under the radar. :j0 -
Oh thats good for you aspella
although they have changed it now to 3p, I dont bother doing it on that site now as others pay higher.
I cant get onto loyalty shopper been trying for about 1.5 hours now its always going down this site is, getting a bit fed up of it now they need to sort it out
edit - its just come back on again but it is getting silly the amount of times its down and for quite long periods tooThanx
