Mortgage funds not released today

I am due to complete on my first house purchase Monday
We exchanged the week before Christmas
I received a text from nationwide Tuesday to say the mortgage funds will be sent 10/01/2020
My solicitor said today she has not received funds however she has received the faxed letter to confirm funds will be sent to her and not to worry that we will still complete Monday
I’m really worried as to why the funds were meant to be sent today but didn’t get sent but the solicitor is 100% that Monday will go ahead as she will get the money?!
Please help

Sometimes they run out of time.
That is why it is a good idea to order funds a day or 2 before completion just incase last minute hitches arise.
The fact it was meant to be released today and wasnt is a pretty good indication you will be one of the first on the list for monday.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. As ACG has said above, if there was an issue I would expect Nationwide would have notified your solicitor by now. Added to that they have received a fax confirmation, this sounds to me like it’s just a timing issue and I would imagine funds will arrive pretty quickly but on Monday.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
