Ok, 50 today. Haven't been here for sometime, maybe 2015'ish. Used to be ex armydreamer and then changed to my lovely carrot and love my little icon so much, I'm sticking with it.
Well we moved house in 2015 and with best of intent planned on lavish overpayments and improving expert squirrelling techniques but fell into the 'lets improve and spend, spend, spend on the new house'.
Well with 4 kids, who seem to think it's ok to have hour long refillable baths and no concept of turning a light off, its been hard work and the budget is stretching more than a hulk Hogan plastic figure.
The mortgage is due for renewal in Nov 2020 and is currently 1.89%, so to knock a bit off before then would be great. The husband also talked us into a new motorhome last September, so that's a weight around my debt free neck which needs reducing down asap.
So, here's to a new diary and a new sensible head to money
I'm going to subscribe to myself, as I'm a bit rusty with the boards and I'll lose my post.

Good luck! The stretch Armstrong reference made me giggle, I think we can all relate to that! x0
