Options
Hi, I have been bankrupt now for 5 months and today recieved a letter stating that from next month i will have to pay in £96 a month to an ipa agreement for 36 months, when i submitted my soa back in august it had quite a large deficit in it, is there away to find out what they have not accepted and why the payment is so high, I have been on reduced hours due to stress and anxiety for the last year and this really isnt helping

First of all make sure you don’t sign anything accepting it.

Secondly, ask for a breakdown of what they have allowed you and question it. I did this with mine and was able to get the IPA amount reduced. It is negotiable.

    Good luck.
