Sounds like you are bang on track: I’d personally move it all to the higher risk for what should be the longer term benefits, but either way, crack on.
Regarding IFAs, Fred is a well known hater....I am more circumspect: you are in a profession broadly known for level-headed thinkers, and I believe there is enough information available these days to manage your own finances....my view is that the best financial advisor you will ever know is yourself, but that comes with the need to be informed and capable of self-critique.
