Story:
Lady was married for 10 years.
Found out he was cheating and had another child.
They split up. Now she has 40k of unsecured debt she can’t pay in her name. Husband not willing to pay. He has his own company.
She has started divorce proceedings.
She earns: 12k a year and 2 kids.
What would your advice be as she doesn’t know where to start.
I tried to give a high level overview.

It is good that you are requesting support for your friend

The first thing she needs to do is to register on this forum, posting up a realistic SOA (Statement of Affairs). Then we can give advice, support and guidance targeted toward her specific needs.
Your overview lacks detail. She needs to post in person...I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.
I love my job
