Will anyone give us a mortgage

My partner and i have put in an offer on a house for 390,000 which has been agreed.
We have a deposit of 200,000 and savings of 25,000 which can be used for moving stamp duty etc
But my partner has had previous debts amounting to £36547
He cleared the debts in Nov 2018. He didn't pay the debts in full but came to an arrangement with each of the companies.
Neither of us have any debts now other than a car lease i pay each month of 312.00
His salary is 32,000
I am self employed and have been for 10 years
2017-2018 nett proft £17157
2018-2019 net proft £23614
Are we kidding ourselves that we are going to get a mortgage with our figures and history of debt?
Thank you

So you don't even have a DIP yet?
How are the 'arrangements' recorded in his credit file.0 -
There will probably be options, but you will need a broker and I cant see you getting normal rates. I imagine rates will be in and around the 4% mark.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
