To participate, you must:
All participants must be aged 18-65. Participants must not be pregnant and must
not have had a previous diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes. Participants must not have
any physical health conditions which would impose on their ability to exercise.
If you meet the inclusion criteria, it is then up to you to decide whether to take
part. You will be emailed a copy of this information sheet so that you can return
to it at any point. We will also ask you to electronically sign an informed consent
form. You can withdraw at any point and you do not have to give a reason.
Your participation in this study, should you decide to take part, will be entirely
online. The study will include an initial questionnaire which should take
approximately 30 minutes
You will then watch a short video which lasts 2 minutes. Following this, we will ask you to complete a further questionnaire one
week later which will take 15 minutes
. There are no lifestyle restrictions; we just ask that you respond to the questionnaire as honestly as you can.
Participants will be entered in a prize draw with the opportunity to win
Love2Shop Gift Vouchers totalling £330.
It is important to note that all information that we collect about you during the
research will be kept strictly confidential. You will not be able to be identified in
any reports.
