Waiting for mortgage offer after valuation

Anyone else? It’s killing me this waiting! We submitted full application via a broker with Santander on 18th Dec, been told accepted subject to valuation. We have reserved a newbuild using help to buy. There’s been some confusion with the valuation they are using legal and general and originally the valuation was booked for 23rd Dec. We then heard nothing and the broker said the valuation didn’t happen and has been re booked for today. Well we popped into the sales office where we reserve our newbuild and they said the valuation definitely did happen on the 23rd as the lady said she spoke to them in person she was adamant and they were just waiting for a CML form. Our broker says it didn’t happen and is happening today. Not heard anything yet just want to know what’s going on but seems to not be totally clear. We’ve also got our ATP with help to buy so just waiting on this mortgage offer :(

The CML form (or UK Finance Disclosure Of Incentives Form as it should now be called) and the valuation inspection rely on each other so one without the other is going to hold up the issue of your offer.

Once both are done and the valuation report and UKFD are in the surveyor's hands they will be able to feed-back to Santander so the offer can be issued.
