Quick question - token payments....cash or cheque?

Options
Hi all,

I know this may seem like a silly question but here goes!

I'm sending token payments to my creditors tomorrow...do i send cash (£1 coin) or cheque?

Just worried about sending cash in the post.

Thankyou!

  • thanks!

i thought cheques might be better - after all pound coins are quite heavy so it might cost more in postage! :D

I would send it by cheque because then you know the letter has been received when they cash it. Would be a good idea to make sure you know which cheque number went to which creditor though

def send by cheque, keep a record of the cheque number, and if possible send the cheque by recorded delievery.

also when your bank statement comes check that the cheque has been cashed, better to have a paper trail....(unless its toilet paper)

dont worry - basically say the credit card company wanted a payment of £500.00 and the person couldnt afford it, say they sent £5.00 its classed a token

(the thoughts there but the money isn't)
