Gluten Free Bread in Breadmaker

We don't waste much as a family but bakery items are the number one thing I seem to throw out. I am coeliac so I have to buy gluten free which is expensive for the nice stuff so I have decided to have another go at baking gluten free bread.

Last time I did it was years ago and the bread was soggy and tasted of vinegar! Things have moved on a lot with gluten free since then so I am guessing there are really good bake at home recipes.

I got our old panasonic breadmaker out of the garage (it is a little corroded around the base near the element but the pan is in perfect condition) and I have tried to replicate one of the breads I recently bought by using the ingredient list. I had most of the items but used just tapioca starch instead of tapioca mixed with potato starch.

It tasted amazingly good (its still warm but couldn't help trying it!). I will try it again tomorrow with the potato starch if I get time to buy some.

I would love to improve on the recipe though and wondered if anyone has any gluten free bread recipes that have been game changing for them. Or any variations for gluten free such as fruit bread or brioche style.

Part of the reason for getting out the breadmaker is moneysaving and attempting to reduce our grocery spend, so does anyone know how much the breadmakers cost to run. I want to work out how much per loaf its costing me.
