Christmas stock? As there are no 350g pistachios on their website or 300g cashews
These are NOT the Xmas stuff that come in reddish packages. They are also reduced which is routine.
These are the regular stuff that have been reduced. Not sure of the reason. May be they are being discontinued. I regularly buy these at around £3=49 for 300+ grams. The pistachios came in greenish packages. I scanned several (100 gms and 300 gms) of these to find out which ones were reduced.
Pistachios 300gms. Cashews 350gms.
Scan it and see. My Local Tesco all gone.
8 x 550g bags of the peanuts 52p each.
11 x 300g cashews £1.07 each
12 x 330g pistachios 91p each
and a new one
7 x 500g bags mixed nuts and raisins, unsalted, 50P each
Thanks OP.
It takes 3500 calories to lose a pound in weight. Target 13 lbs weight loss. 18.5lbs lost 2nd May - 28 September.
Thanks, looked in my Tesco last night and they dont sell bags with those weights so must differ from store to store.
Great price though
I think although they aren't the red packaging these are sizes that were only brought in for Christmas. I got some of them at the discounted price from a local Tesco Express that would never normally stock this sort of thing. They are definitly Christmas stock, even if not Christmas packaging.
Possible.
However the pistachios and cashews that I buy have been in the same shelf area for many years. The usual xmas stocks were clearly marked, in a different shelf for clearance but these had to be scanned to verify. I tried two Tescos
