Sending flowers in the post

Hello
I want to send flowers to my parents by post as they are struggling this year. It is however very hard to get feedback from them if the flowers are a bit naff... so i'm looking for recommendations please?
I used bunches After Christmas and the blooms arrived open and starting to 'go over' so very disapointing. It took me a week to get this info so no photo proof to complain.. sigh.
I can't afford the cost of the local flower shops I looked.
I'm on a budget and just want bright and cheery.. think lidl/aldi bouquets or supermarket chrysanthemums
I am unable to go out and buy in person and drop round.. I know this would be most affordable and I could chose.
I have a carer who can occasionally drop some off in person as she drives home that way but really want a post option.
Bloom and wild - i have had these delivered to me as a gift and they are lovely but quite pricey and fancy.. my folks like chrysanth, freesia roses in bright colour.
I hope that makes sense.
P.S. I am sorry this might be the wrong part of the forum .. i'm a bit muddled.

Havent checked others , but the first two I looked at ,Asda & sainsburys both allow flowers to be included as part of a home grocery delivery
https://groceries.asda.com/search/flowers?cmpid=ahc-_-ghs-_-asdacom-_-hp-_-search-flowers

I've used e-florist for many years, and have been sent flowers from them, too. The courier-delivered bunches are more reliable than the florist-delivered ones, in my experience, and much cheaper to boot.
Have a look here https://www.eflorist.co.uk/under-30-flowers-ct3741
Go via Topcashback if you use it as they offer a decent cashback rate. (Don't know whether they're on other cashback sites.)0 -

Why not go for potted plants instead of cut flowers?
Pot mums and houseplant minature roses will last for weeks at a time so your carer could occasionally drop them off for you.0 -
Thankyou
Sadly they wont online shop - and i use tesco for the points.
Eflorist was very pricey for their area but will look again.. hadn't thought of topcashback for them
pot plants .. great reminder we do this when i see a miniature rose ..
Bunches have actually been really good today.. i sent a general email not expecting much as no evidence but they offered to resend the flowers again as an apology... so will hope they are beter this time.
I do agree though choosing from local florists (funds permitting) and supermarkets is the better way than sending them through the postal system it's just post works for me and them if i can find a good company again.0 -

I used Serenata flowers, the ones I bought were already reduced by £10 from £39.99 to £29.99 and I found a promotional code online which gave me another £6 off. I ordered about 8pm in the evening and they were delivered the next day. Recipient very happy with them.0
