Any tips for a good food hamper gift?

I'd like to buy a nice food or chocolate hamper for delivery to a friend for her birthday, but am wary that alot of hampers have such disappointing content.
Can anyone recommend a supplier that does a nice hamper in the £50-80 price bracket?

Look on Marks & Spencer website. They normally go half price ones after Christmas

Hi,


Work received an M&S hamper, the contents was split between employees (mostly chocs and biscuits) but they let me have the wicker basket which was like a picnic type with leather strap and toggle to close.


I bought my mother in law 2 nice china tea cups and saucers from Morrisons at £5 each and put them in the basket along with some slightly more expensive coffee, red bush tea, cappuccino sachets and chocs.


It came to about £18 and they loved it, they knew it was home made and the contents weren't M&S and the coffee/tea types were different from their usual PG's and Nescafe so it was a bit different.


They plan to return the basket to me next Xmas with a homemade hamper.


It's cheaper, personalized and more environmentally friendly.
it doesn't have to be food or drinks all the time, they might like books and hot choc or it could be a hamper for pet treats.


Hope it's an idea for someone reading this post.
