Ok, how many coupons for a bag/satchel? I've given up trying to find something elegant - they're all too small, or not secure enough - & have ordered one of these instead. I've fought the impulse to buy one every time I'm up there, so I've given in now! I'll also need to add 5 coupons for a lacy cardi, and probably buy some tights, but then I'm done.

Pip, the healthy back bags flatten down well to put in the bottom of a suitcase. I've never tried folding mine, but I'm sure they would.
I love the leather bag, but it's a bit pricey for me! 😍😘

MrsCD, I haven't bought a new bag since I had the kids. Eldest is 32 now...
Time to drop some hints for Christmas! 😁😗

Hi @Cherryfudge.  Padded bike shorts are wonderful and worth the coupons. If you are using your own bike, then swapping the seat for a broader one may help too.  (I was stupid enough to buy a racing bike when I was 19 and madly in love with a bloke who cycled.  I can remember not being able to walk after my first or second ride and being totally bemused as to why the seat was so uncomfortable.  Racing bikes have narrow seats.)
Oh, the things we do for love! I bought my first computer because of a boy... he's long gone but there's always a computer in my life :D
I think the seat on my bike is probably quite well padded, for a bike. It's definitely cushioned and not all that narrow - DH has changed the angle for me so we'll see if that helps. If it doesn't, well, it's acquired a bit of damage from years in the shed so a new one could be investigated. My friend tells me there are now gel saddles, which probably weren't invented when my bike last saw the light of day. Proper padded cycling shorts, however, are a need not a want. :)
ETA: I might try a cheap pair of unpadded shorts and add the padding myself - tailored to where the bruises were! Then I'll wear something over them to hide the shape :D

  • I have bought 2 new bras for my holiday next week. Added to 10 coupons for 2 T shirts I think my grand total since July 1st is 13. So far so good!

Does anyone have a reliable way to get grease or oil out of cotton/polycotton tee shirts?    I have managed to get cooking fat on two pink tee shirts this month.  The first has been soaked in Vanish oxy-wash and washed at 40c; the second hasn't yet.

I'd suggest buying the real thing.  The bike shorts I have are padded with chamoix leather and don't get smelly from sweat.  You can always wear a pair of leggings over them in the winter, to keep warmer.
