I’m going to try that next time I open some sun dried tomatoes. I love them but you can never get through a full jar in 3 weeks or whatever. I’m not hugely keen on cheese, so could try and tweak it.Thanks for this inspiration!Debt Jan 2017 = £42kMay 2022 = £15k3

We were supposed to be having a family afternoon today, lunch at my folks' house and then a wee jaunt probably down the coast but my wee niecy-pie (age 5) tested positive on a lat flow this morning. They have now done a pcr each and are awaiting results. Can't believe they're going to be stuck in again as they only finished the Christmas quarantine a week and a half ago.
I ended up spending the afternoon with my folks just myself and it was so lovely.
I had to go to the shop again today for bits we need. There was only one thing I bought that we didn't actually need but it was £1 and will get used. I have more stuff on a list but it's not desperate so I'll get that at a later date. I'm really glad I'm writing this all down as I would have forgotten it all by now. It is eye opening!Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

First day back to work today after three weeks off. It was so busy. It's going to be a busy week as I have deadlines for Friday. All good though. My plan is to start early each day so I'll build up a bit of flexi for when it quietens down again.
Bf was going to come up for tea but he was first day back today too and also pretty intense day so he has gone home instead. I'm actually a bit relieved (not in a bad way) as LMG is working so I can do my own thing. I had bought chicken but I can use that another night or freeze it if necessary.
I have to rein in the spends but I'm thinking that now I'm back to work it should hopefully be easier. LMG is off tomorrow but lates the rest of the week and I have plenty of food to be going on with. One resolution this year is not to deprive myself of food (I don't plan well and end up scraping things together and don't always have a lot in, I don't mean starve myself on purpose) and I have been planning quite well so far this year (note to self: you're only on day 10 GAP). I just need to keep up this momentum. It has been easy with not working so now the challenge has started again.
I'm all caught up with diaries so I'm going to make something to eat now before I get lost in other threads.Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

Tea is cooking as I type but just had to come back to say I saw that @EssexHebridean won £25 on her PBs. I gloomily logged into my PB account and lo and beholdI cannot believe it. I didn't get a notification because I have paper correspondence set up (didn't even realise). That's a nice surprise to start the year. I only have £1,500 in there so I didn't expect anything.Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000
