Very BNPL Payment
I made payment to pay off my very account balance a few days before a buy now pay later interest was applied
I made the payment but did not choose the BNPL payment button and have now been charged £476.96 interest!
As a result of choosing wrong payment option I have been charged huge interest, do I have the right to challenge/complain about this

Hi mmatt05 and welcome to the forum
Unfortunately, because of your mistake, you have failed to meet the terms of their BNPL option. I would ring them tomorrow morning, advising them that you have made a mistake when making your payment. Be real apologetic, real polite. Remember to wish them happy holidays. Request a goodwill gesture, in the spirit of the season, that they reallocate your payment to your BNPL transaction(s). If you are super friendly, nice and polite, then you might get lucky.
Good luck!I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.

Op I know what you mean, it would be easy to miss the section as its not clear. Complain to very they will sortDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Spoke to them this morning and they have agreed to correct the payment:dance::dance:0
