Depends on what industry you work in also, are you call centre? Also wait until your next absence, you'll trigger sick leave disciplinary I would presume?

From the advice i've been given in my thread i would say that as you've not been there for 24 months then they will sack you. That seems to be the view for anyone who hasn't served 24 months.

This bit reminded me of someone who worked at my place. They started the job and a short while later they were off sick for a couple of weeks. On their return they got to their desk to find someone else sat there. The conversation went a little like, excuse me who are you, this is my desk? The new-new person, obviously a little uncomfortable was like uhm well actually this is my desk. At this point the second in command came in and told the returning person that they no longer work there as they can't afford to have people off so soon after starting a new job. Goodbye.
