I'm not a FTB but also not remortgaging? What am I?

Hello, quick question.

I had a house and a mortgage in my name back in 2014 but it’s been sold. So do I fall under ‘remortgaging’ even thought I am not!

What am I and what schemes are out there for people like me?

You can still use HTB equity loan or shared ownership.

From a mortgage point of view.

Some lenders will class you as a first time buyer if you haven't owned for x number of years.
Most will class you as a 'home mover'

From hmrc point of view, you are not a first time buyer so will have to pay stamp duty on purchase.
Help to buy equity loan is still open to you for the time being
Help to buy isa is closed as you aren't a ftb
Shared ownership is available as well
