26 - 30 Railcard Renewal

Happy Christmas all!
My 26 - 30 railcard is due to expire in the coming months and to maximise the time I can have the card I planned to renew the day before my 31st birthday. However this is not until later in the year which would mean I go 6 months+ without the railcard if I wait.
is anybody aware of a way round this? For example can you take out 2 x 26 - 30 railcards to cover the period between the renewal date and my 31st birthday?
I have searched the forum but not seen anything recently on this, any help would be awesome!

In the FAQ it says you can buy a second card the day before your birthday but you will need a different address for the second card. You cannot simply renew your current card early.
