Could you do some private tutoring on the side? I used to teach a language in the evenings and get £15/hour for it. It was just casual, I just advertised on gumtree at the time, usually did it at the weekend or in the evenings.

I am still wrangling with the new forum so not read your diary for a while, was worried a few posts ago but very glad to see you are doing better.
It is very hard at this point, the bit where all the lifestyle changes kick in but you are still skint. Do you work at any nice places who might have student teachers? perhaps for term time? I do tutoring, really enjoy it and it covers petrol and lunches in my world.
I am looking for things to sell too, mostly pet stuff and I am going to do it on FB, I am, really. I am. ~ugh.
You are going in the right direction. All the right decisions. XXXX

I started doing this and signed up to a website and had about 5 students then I had one who came with his dad. He was a single dad. I had to cancel one week and offered to rearrange later in the week. Then he sent me an awful text saying that I’d shattered his son’s confidence and lots of crazy stuff and it put me off having students in the house. I’ve kept 2 students but don’t think I’ll risk it again being on my own

Going to them is sensible but I get less money because I lose the travelling time. I need to think about it again. Yes the new site has thrown me just learned to bookmark the diaries I am following then go to bookmarks when I log in. How stupid I am it’s taken me ages to figure that. Yes I feel I’m really trying and no better off. And I hate this weather definitely suffering from SAD

Yeah, I was happy today that the sun set at 5.30 almost. I too hate this time of year.
You will be better off, honestly it clicks. XX

Sunday is my analysis of the week. I got paid 2 days ago and it’s all accounted for. Not gone as it’s their for DDs to come out but accounted for not to be touched which is good I’m trying. I’m gritting my teeth to get through March because the worst thing about this is not being blind anymore. My estimation of my financial needs each month was about a third out because I somehow thought I could exist without food or petrol. Add in money to pay for haircuts and car stuff and emergency things and a social life and what I need is way more. Now all accounted for then today I sent my daughter some flowers because it was my partner’s birthday this week her stepdad who is no longer with us and she’s can’t stop crying these things happen. Onwards and upwards this week
