New Bed

Hii have decided it's time to replace the bed but unsure what to look for.
Possible double bed or maybe a king size divan but as for memory foam or normal springs I haven't a clue.
Does that bed test thing that's advertised on TV by a bed company work? ( Forgotten the company)
Any advice would be great.
Thanks

It seems ok at helping you pick how firm you mattress should be, especially if there are two of you of differing builds.
Only then do the complicated choices begin.....0 -
The dreams sleep match it is.
What should i be looking for in a new bed like springs and memory foam?
Thanks everyoneSpending my time reading how to fix PC's,instead of looking at Facebook.0 -
if you want a sprung mattress then you want to look for 'pocket sprung' which means each spring is woven into its own pocket unlike the old cheaper style of sprung beds where they are attached to a wire frame, you would want a minimum of 1000 springs for a double mattress.
what mattress depends on weather you sleep on your side/front/back etc..0 -
This has cropped up in the which reviews as being good but unsure if it will be sweaty in the summer
I have also seen this Sealy Activsleep Geltex Pocket 2800 Mattress but not so good review on which.Spending my time reading how to fix PC's,instead of looking at Facebook.0 -
OP, if you use the Search function at the top of this board, you'll find the subject of mattresses has come up time and time again. There are one or two posters who I believe are independent ex retailers and give some very useful advice.0
