Had a bit of change re thinking about repayment shuffled some around so it's on less interest.
Will update figures.
CC2 £400
CC3 £600
Loan 1 gone
Loan 2 £ 2000
so £3000 to go for the year.0 -
Not updated for a while as i was ill for a bit and then with the lockdown mental health went hay wire am feeling better was just worried as I am in the shielding group and my chances if I catch the virus are not said to be good.
Money wise have spent more than I wanted to on food and have a reduced income due to the virus causing us to temporarily close our ebay store.
Will sort figures and post.

Totally lost the way with Frugal living etc. Had loss of income due to covid and having to order everything in has pushed our food bill up and up.
I have been saving my £2 coins but very limited as I am shielding so not using much cash.
Putting odd bits into sealed pot when daughter has braved the local shop, again buying here is costing more but we have kept well.
Paying off debts has taken a back seat due to loss of income, looking to try to regain the 3 months of low sales (we were shut down for two months) reopened ebay store in June, before I can start to pay extra again. It maybe that it will take us to the end of the year to get back on our feet and get a bit of an emergency fund together. Had to use the emergency fund as so far in lockdown our washer, oven and now the breadmaker have all broken down.
I am thinking that it may be the New Year before I can really get stuck into kicking the debts out. May just pay an extra £1 etc when I can to keep the momentum.
Looking next year to grow some of our own crops. If anyone knows of any threads to follow with any advice on growing your own please let me know.

Hi,
Have you signed up to any other f the survey sites? I have made £10 in the last week. So hoping that’s £40 a month goes straight off my CC. I use Prolific and panelbase.net. This might help you. Plus if you and DH sign up that’s £80. My DH won’t do them!!!!
Have you seen if you can get a balance transfer 0% Credit card? Have a look at your The credit Club area to see if you have a good offer.
Hope this might help.

Used a snowball calculator and if I can make an extra £90 per month repayment to the debts these debts could be gone in 2.2 years. Now that doesn't seem too bad. Will have to get back to surveys etc.0

Been a while since posting had a big drop in incomes so plans to overpay are put on hold while I balance the budget yet again. Its going to be an interesting time up to Christmas that's as far in advance I am looking as the situation gets worse in January.
Will be selling stuff on ebay to top up out income until Christmas and then working out a very frugal budget for the New Year. Really want to cut out waste in the home and use more sustainable items so time to knit my own dishcloths/scrubbies etc.

Nearly half way through February and DH and I are keeping a tight hold on the food budget and trying to use all those tins, bits of rice etc we have in our cupboard. Hoping then to de-clutter the kitchen and start again with more nutritional food. I have noticed that if I eat any processed foods my tummy is really upset. So back to eating fresh veg/fruit and salad. Not sure what that is going to do for my food budget. Our local garden centre does some veg /fruit boxes so may try one of them as we are still not going out shopping. Last time I was in a shop was Wilko last February. Can't say we have saved any money as ordering everything online seems to have cost us a fortune, especially in the beginning when there seemed to be no special offers about and now with the price of food increasing it's getting harder to cover the cost.
Stay safe and hopefully a more normal life is on its way.1 -
Started February on £2997.50 ended it on £2839 so going down no extra payments this month.
Did meet my income target for February which I was pleased with as we have a minimum income from DH Private Pension and other sources of £770 per month so looking to top this up with £600 per month to meet our monthly expenses and eat.
Have started to sell lots of our 'Stuff' online which means today I will get around £90 going into the bank so only £510 needed for March.
My plan is to get the £600 coming in regularly and any extra will be used towards debt repayments, if these go then I would need to make about £150 less per month.
Will keep you updated.0
