Salary Sacrifice impact on mortgages nowadays?

Hello -
I know in the past that salary sacrificing into pension has impacted mortgage offers as it reduces take home pay for a number of months, but do lenders still consider this a factor now that salary sacrifices can be edited monthly rather than annually?
It currently suits me to sacrifice 50%+ of my salary, but my salary only makes up 2/3rds of my total income (rest is made up from bonus, on-call, car allowance), and with a possible house move shortly on the horizon will every lender just apply the 4.5x calculation based on 1/3rd of my total income?
Anyone else been in a similar scenario recently and/or have experience of the proportion of lenders that insist on sticking to the old black and white rules and the proportion that are more flexible now?

Its not an issue today as most employers will still state the actual pre-salary sacrifice income on the payslip or verify salary sacrifice by other means.0
