Many Brexiters are keen to discuss the economy of the EU without Britain.
Here is the perfect place leaving the thread titled “Brexit the economy and house prices” to concentrate on the British economy.

There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.

Did the fact that we are not part of the USA make a difference?0

100% no
As a Remainer who now fully accepts the will of the UK people to leave the EU I will say this one thing, for those that voted Brexit in order to crash the UK property market your reasoning will be seen as delusional0 -

You'll likely only find about five people in the whole of the country who voted Brexit for that reason.0 -

Well lets hope you are right, because they are not going to get what they hoped for. But I know for a fact you are way off. For many it was a way to to get "them" to go home where they came from, nasty little racists0 -
Will German, French, Dutch, Scandinavian, and other EU27 buyers continue to be interested in the picturesque parts of the UK putting upward pressure on house prices in those areas? There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0

What are property prices like in Switzerland and Norway?0

It's hard to tell, the ranking economy and exodus of wealth creators will drive prices down.
On the other hand, the weakened GBP means we're cheaper for foreign investors who'll price out locals like we already see with coastal towns and Londoners.
Either way, it's only going to be harder to locals to buy.0 -

Do many Europeans buy property in the uk?
I’m aware of the Russians, Chinese, Malaysians but not aware of the Europeans and I’m quite near the Cotswolds (very picturesque
