3 days in my case. Not long under normal circumstances but critical this time of year. Nothing on their site saying anything wrong - was still displaying "order before 12pm for same day dispatch". No email advising of delay.
T&Cs seem to say nothing specific about dispatch of personalised orders but more generally do say
"....or we cannot meet your requested delivery date or there was an error in price on our Website (as referred to in clause 15.4), we will inform you of this by email and we will not continue to process your order."
so they had already broken their contract with me (ie no email sent)
Impossible to reach by phone. Tried for 1hr or 2 to get through. Eventually found an alternative number and got thro to switchboard. Took my details and told "someone will call you" - never did.
Emailed them. Got a boiler plate response saying high demand, working 24 hrs blah, blah..... Totally unclear if already dispatched or if not when it might be.
Emailed them again and dispatch finally confirmed yesterday evening.
