HELP!!!!!!!!! can't start lappy's

wakendem, I know where you are coming from but if we can get at least 1 lappie up and running we have a chance, Optopn 1 would have always been my first choice, but we seem to be out of luck on that front, unles brother has his disks of course!

Spikey I think you are getting your MB and GB mixed up.

Does your mobile phone have an MP3 function where you can plug it into your computer to put songs on? That might work, I always use my MP3 player or mobile as a temp flash drive.

let me check........ I have found 2...in my work bag.....1 is a 32MB one and the other 500mb I think...........any good? now what?

put the 32Mb one in your borrowed laptop

Go to to C:\Windows\System32 folder

Find the ntdll.dll file and COPY it to the flash drive,

Get your Laptop and power it up
As it powers up, immediately press the F8 key

Do you get Safe mode options?

yes get that but when I press that it goes straight to :

"STOP: c0000221 unknown HardError

Ok can you get the laptop to boot from a USB device in the BIOS?

To do this restart the laptop and press DEL so that the BIOS screen comes up
