The score is "made up" by the CRA's as to how they envisage a lender would view you - although every lender is different so it's nowhere near remotely accurate.

Ahh, so there is no time frame for my score to start looking good again ?
Because they have to offer at least basic bank account facilities to people nowadays?
I suspect the OP will have to apply in-branch and they should be offered a basic account when they fail the credit check for a full-fat one.
I've been in branch and applied, initially it is accepted then after 2 days max they decline it and some banks dont even offer the basic bank account after this

When you say you state how much cash, do you state this as your income (average cash amount a month x 12) or just that you are making an initial deposit? It could be you are getting declined as stating you have no income?
