I have just received a letter from an old lender, Platform. This mortgage was redeemed back in 2014.
The letter sates that on my offer they had stated that any additional borrowing would be charged interest at the rate at the time of the additional borrowing.
So they now want to know if I paid an early repayment charge when the mortgage was redeemed. I cant remember if I did or not!!
Why do they now need to know this information? By the way i did receive additional borrowing twice!

The best people to ask why they want that information is Platform.
If you do not know the answer you could ask the company who did the conveyancing if they have records from 2014, they should do as it was not that long ago.
