As the shops expect everyone to already have their tree up, the deals seem to be rolling in at the moment!

This weekend, I managed to buy all my Christmas tree baubles for my new home next year (more than 100 overall!) for £5 in the sale!

I can't be the only one who does this and I know you're all out there!

So what forward-thinking cracking bargains have you managed to get in the past? Share them here! :j (But don't forget the Money Mantras!)

I buy ALL of next year’s relative-specific cards from Card Factory in the sales so I’m not last-minute shopping for expensive crap a few days before Xmas.

I also buy various gifts for family & friends when they’re >50% off (stuff like Xmas pjs & gift sets) & store them away for the following year.

This year I’m planning on buying all of the relatives non-liquid travel toiletries sets + pj’s and/or packing cubes to stow away for next year as I’m fed up of getting to Xmas & then Panic-buying rubbish & spending over my budget just to get something.

I always buy m&s crackers in the sale at 75% off for the following year. Also wrapping paper, last january i bought 7 rolls of wrapping paper for 10p each (2 rolls were red - 1 plain and shiny and 1 with white outlines of stars on it, both suitable for birthdays also)!
