Delay repay on Southeastern

Hi

I use southeastern trains from bromley into london and pay by my journeys using contactless bank card. Does anyone know how it works when claiming for delays as their website asks you to upload evidence of journey but i dont have any tickets or anything to upload as use my bank card?

Thanks

I assume this is in the Oyster zone? If so your Oyster account will provide the evidence.

If you don't have an account you need one if you want to claim delay repay using contactless payments.
  • The Oyster account will show what time you tapped in at the origin station, and what time you tapped out at the destination. This will be clear evidence that you were at the origin station in time to catch a specific train, and that due to delays/cancellation you arrived at the destination more than X minutes late, justifying the delay-repay claim.

If/When you have an Oyster account - add the bank card to it. Then a screenshot of the tap-in and tap-out times is enough to prove the delay as just said above.
I need to think of something new here...
