If you don't have a big income, don't incur big expenditure.

I'm gobsmacked that people ask questions such as these, as if they're completely incapable of considering it from the opposite perspective, ie would you lend a large sum of money to someone who doesn't have very much income?!?

What? No, you wouldn't?!? Then why would a bank....?!?

The reason why is that "everyone" gets new cars on finance so it doesn't occur to people to do it any other way. Or maybe it's just a really, really big want?

Buying a £15,000 car on finance while having a credit card balance that you can't afford to pay off, that's a really bad idea. I haven't even TOUCHED thinking about your limited income because if you can't afford to pay out your credit cards then you can't afford fifteen grand. Simple as that.

Either go without a car or buy a reliable used one for £2,000.

You have a long history here on MSE - I really really hope that either your CC debt is strategic, or your part time work is incredibly well-paid, or you just desperately love that new car you spotted last week?

As for your score, it's not a thing lenders see. They will see the CC balance though and they will be asking what your income is. I can't get a £15K loan on part time work with no CC debt or "adverse" history, so my guess is that you'd never be approved.
