Every time I try to switch between tabs chrome has started refreshing all the tabs. It is doing it constantly and is driving me nuts. Having googles I have seen someone else complaining about this but I can't find a fix.
What do people think is the best comping browser these days please?

I use Opera. I believe it's powered by Chrome, but I find it more stable. The bookmarks are easier to arrange, too.0

Have you made sure Chrome is up to date?
I rarely have a problem when using Chrome for comping, but when I do it's because it needs updating.0 -

I'm getting the same. Only started in the last few days, was great before.
As I've got a Chromebook I can't change to something else.
There is a big update pending but it involves doing a powerwash which resets the Chromebook to factory settings.0 -
I downloaded and tried BRAVE browser.
I must admit I have not tried comping on it yet but it has got round the videos and ads which made reading online newspapers impossible in Chrome and Opera since the Daily Mail got wind that we were using ad blockers.
All my passwords etc are in Chrome at present Brave does give you the option to import them but have not done this yet.
I will update if I get a chance later.0
