I was having the same problems but it is working now at last. I had to register three times before I got an email containing my password. When I finally did manage to login it let me enter all three days.

To enter your door number just press the tab key - there is a separate section for it at the end of that line (but difficult to see).

As was the case with so many other radios made at the time in Bakelite, BeoLit 39’s design was strongly influenced by the most powerful symbols of the day, such as skyscrapers and, in this case, streamlined cars. The scale of the radio was inspired by instrument panels and the loudspeakers by the vehicles’ radiator grilles.

Edited to add that 1938 has been given as the date in a post further down.

I also found something from their own website which said:

An important technological success came in 1939 when Bang & Olufsen introduced the first radio with 'quick-touch' operation which made it possible to select a station merely by pressing just one button. This was the first time that user-friendly operation was really put into focus. "Only One Touch" has become a typical Bang & Olufsen product feature since 1939 with the introduction of the Radio Master de Luxe 39K. Because of its simplicity, the user could access many European stations directly by pressing just one button.



So - i think unless someone has a definitive answer, there is a bit of confusion on the information out there.
