How long after win notification to receive prize

Just curious to see how long it takes for you to receive a prize after a WEM or phone call. In my experience I received a WEM about 2 weeks ago and still not received the prize, although the promoter said it can take 30 days, so not too concerned. My other wins were ebooks and a book I never knew I won until I received it, so first experience of this,

How long is a piece of string?
I've received a prize the day after giving them my address and once, as long three months after being notified. Most prizes will be received within 28 - 30 days. If the people running the comp have the prize ready, they may send it within a few days but if they have to contact a fulfillment company or supplier it could take much longer.

I would never chase one up within a month and then only a polite enquiry.

I don't chase a prize until around 28-30 days after as that is usually what is in the terms and conditions say. It can take a day to 30 days to arrive, but many arrive within 2 weeks.

Thanks for the advice. Received the Pavarotti BLu Ray in the post today so there was no need to be email the promoter.

The ASA/CAP guidelines are 30 days so that would be the earliest chasing up point unless the T&Cs said delivery would be sooner than that.
