Will stopping payments make them default me?

Hoping someone can offer some advice. I was on a DMP with Stepchange but became self managed in Sept this year. I have debts with 5 different providers and so far only 2 have defaulted the accounts. HSBC have said they are reviewing their processes and therefore cannot do anything until that has been completed. They have…

Thanks Run for life I will try the letter above to HS8C, to get accounts defaulted.
