Yeah thats fine we have an account with Yorkshire bank which i have no links to apart from the joint account so i will use this account.
Regarding when to contact my creditors to let them know i intend to default should I do this now or wait to default first
Well that’s the tricky part, you want to show willing, to be shown communicating with your creditors, but, if they know your in financial difficulties, they may just add a temporary freeze on interest, when what you want is a permanent one.
Really if you stop paying, then eventually time will default your accounts, the reasons for non payment will be of no real consequence to them, non payment is non payment after all, you can write and inform them of your intentions if you wish, but until an account defaults, they will be looking to try and keep you as a customer, when you want the exact opposite.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
