It’s doing my bl00dy head in! Any tips? I’ve found a comp that looks familiar but I’ve searched the url, the prize and the company and it’s not bringing anything up!

If you know any words that must be in the title, you can go to Advanced Search. In the Keywords Search box enter the word(s), select search titles only from dropdown box. Then in the Search in Forums box, select Competitions. Click Search Now.
This seems to work.

To use google search specify site:forums.moneysavingexpert.com eg:

willsmore site:forums.moneysavingexpert.com

If too many results are returned click on "tools" "any time" and "past week"

I use a Chrome plugin called Link History to help me identify comps I've already entered as I often comp across multiple sites. I have it set to show a link in bright orange if I've visited it before, to avoid visiting the same page twice. It's not foolproof as some sites reuse the same URLs, but I've learnt which those are over time.
