Will pay credit card 2 then credit card 1 and then tackle the flexible loan.

I've got another credit that has a zero balance and credit card 2 has a credit limit of £12,500. I'm wondering if it's worth transferring the balance to my spare credit card and then ringing them up to see if I can get the interest rate reduced idealy for the life of balance. What do you think?
Hi again! U should definately call the company u have a £0 balance witha nd see if they'll do any BT offers for u.... and get as much off CC2 as u can, esp cuz of the cash advance interest:eek: Failing that, do u have any room on CC1 to transfer the rest of CC2 at the end of CC1's 0% period? Also, is the £100 for CC1 the minimum? U should be paying only the minimumwhile its on 0%, and throw the rest at the high apr.

Take a look at www.whatsthecost.com and have a play with the snowball calc.

Hope my mad ramblings make a bito f sense (even if my typing doesn't!)

  • You do make sense. I'm going to ring round and see what I can do to reduce interest rates.

  • It's almost the end of the month and I won't be spending any money until next month. I've got just over £400 in my current accout so I'm going to save £200 as I'll have to go get some new glasses next month, and pay the rest to my credit card so I've just paid £208.14 to credit card 2 making the balance £1,190 (I like to round it up).

Having a NSD today. I've got 4 items on eBay finishing tonight which is up to £14 so far. Also going to return a jumper that I bought this month, so that another £17.60.

  • Well I got £23 for the items on eBay that finished last night, got another 4 finishing in 4 days and some more stuff to list tonight.

Having a NSD again today, though I'm tempted by a galaxy bar in our snack box at work, may make me feel better as I'm full of a cold.

  • Had £95 left from last month in my purse, so I've just paid it off credit card 2.

eBay is going well, got a surprise in my Paypal today, I had a unpaid dispute, the buyer was given a strike and I thought that was it and would have to relist but he's just paid.

Got some more stuff to list but I'm running out of things to sell.

Think I'm going to have to try and get my head round matched betting.
