Mortgage Deed Restrictions - Charities Act..

.....am in the process of remortgaging and almost at the final hurdle. The only problem seems to rest with 2 restrictions on the deeds which are now an issue. The current Solicitors have noted that this relates to the previous owners who were a housing association.
When I purchased the house in December 2005 this was not an issue to my knowledge. Do any of you have an idea how long this will take to resolve? They apparently have to obtain a consent form from the housing association and contact the land registry re the Charities Act issues?
Any help greatly appreciated.

Young, happy but bogged down with a mortgage!
