Your Mortgage application - Offered

We obtained an AIP from Santander last month and put in a full application yesterday at 4pm via MB, 25 hours later we have received an email and text from Santander stating:
"Dear Rocket 92,
We're pleased to confirm we've issued your mortgage offer.
Please make sure you read it carefully and contact your mortgage broker if you have any queries.
This offer replaces any other offer you may have already received.
Please don't reply to this message as this mailbox isn't monitored and you won't receive a response.
Kind regards,
Santander"
My understanding is they have accepted us and we will receive information on the offer via post is this correct?
I'm just skeptical because it was so quick and I'm self employed, parter on a 0 hour contract and they are basing the mortgage off of 1 years accounts and haven't asked for ANY additional documentation and didn't even require my SA302.
I understand my MB could answer my question but I am impatient

1 year accounts or latest years accounts?
Santander can verify income electronically, they may have also done a desktop val.
Its rare but not impossible0 -
Best to check with your mortgage advisor. They can double check this with the bank. 24 hours sounds unrealistically fast. I made an application with Barclays and received an offer in the post a week later only to find out that it was an 'accident' i.e the underwriters accidentally clicked ''Approved'' instead of ''More information needed''.
Not saying it will be the same for you but best to check before you start celebrating.0 -

Latest years accounts.
Have heard back from broker, apparently they have done an "automatic valuation" and are happy to lend.. I've been reading threads here for weeks where people are waiting 1-4 weeks to get an offer and we get ours in 25 hours. I'm just waiting for something to go wrong but we will see!0 -
If your mortgage advisors have confirmed it then it is most likely real. They would have called the bank to double check I assume. Congratulations!0
