I really need help

Hello,
This is my first post so please forgive me if I have posted on the wrong forum.
Basically, and to cut a long story short, I have had enough. I am a single parent and have no family/ friends etc. I went to university and have a good job but although I have a decent salary, I am left with nothing each month due to debts / fines etc.
I have a bailiff coming out tomorrow, he has been pestering me all week. The debt is from two fines from driving in a bus lane. In hindsight I should have paid the fines but because it went to court, it ended up being over £600. I was paying the bailiff and there is just over £250 left to pay. I have told them I can’t afford to pay and they basically said it’s tough.
I do not want my children being home when they turn up. They have told me they will be round tomorrow. Although I am at work during the day, I know they can come round between the hours of 6am-9pm.
I honestly would not carry on if it wasn’t for my children but have no choice but to keep going. Even though I am miserable because of the money situation. I feel I have wasted my life working hard... for nothing.
Anyway, I don’t think there is anything that anyone can say to help me but thought I may feel better getting this off my chest.
Thanks for reading.

How much can you pay them? They don't want belongings they want money. If you can show them that you don't have the money they may find it best to agree to you starting payments again.
Can you post up an SOA? Is this your only debt? The sooner you work out how much money you should have left, the sooner you can sort out what to do next.Aiming to make £7,500 online in 20220 -
Hi Carlyxx,
Well done on posting and so sorry to hear about your situation. Unfortunately I don't know how the bailiff system works but I'm sure others on here will. Don't give up hope. Your kids love and need you and that's the important thing to remember. Wishing you all the best in getting some support to help you through this. Things do get better0 -
hope everything was ok today, did you manage to get to an arrangement with the baliffs?
how are you feeling?0 -
Thank you for your replies. No, I offered to pay on the 23rd when I get paid and he refused to accept this. He said they are putting something on the system regarding my car so they can take it however I have explained that it is a company car!
I offered to make a smaller payment and still refusing. I understand they have a job to do but they have been so rude.0 -
I am really sorry to read this. I am sorry I do not know what to advise. Can you speak to the Citizens Advice Bureau? I really hope that someone here can help.
