Men's Tweed Suits

Hi.
I ordered a pair of men's boots from Men's Tweed Suits on 17th November. They were never dispatched as they never had them in stock. I rang the company and got through to the number they gave and the guy I spoke to said they would refund my money. He didn't and now when I try to chase it up none of their numbers are in service, they are not replying to my facebook messages to their page, nor to my emails. Hope someone can advise me what to do. They are still updated their facebook page every day so I don't understand why I can't get a response. Not sure what I should do next? I know I can take the case up with my credit card but they won't do anything for 30 days and I need the money back now! Would it be worth contacting Trading Standards as I'm worried this may be a bogus company and don't want anyone else losing their money before Christmas....

If they are not responding then you will have to wait till the credit card co can deal.
Which card is it, as Visa is 15 days before a chargeback can be actioned from date of debit.Life in the slow lane0 -
17 November is not very long ago. If you ordered them then, but they were out of stock, when did you actually speak to them and they said they'd refund you? Did they give a timescale? (I might reasonably expect them to take up to 28 days or a calendar month).0

Have you got a link to the site you bought from? I just looked at the only one I could find under the name mens tweed suits and they don't sell any shoes/boots.0

My bad then, that is the one I looked at but I did the obvious thing of looking under the product tabs to find shoes/foot ware. The only tab I didn't choose to look at was New In because one would assume they would also be included in the other tabs. Bit of an a**e backwards site design really.0 -

This isn't an answer to your main question - but many businesses will create their facebook posts in bulk a long time in advance, and schedule them to post at specific times.
So the fact that new posts are appearing on their facebook page isn't an indication that a human being at the company is looking at their facebook messages.0 -
